Day 1 – LONDON-CAMBRIDGE-YORK-DURHAM
Departure towards the north of England. In CAMBRIDGE time to admire its huge universities. After lunch time the trip continues to YORK. Its cathedral, its walls of Roman origin and its active shopping streets leave a pleasant memory. Time for a walk. The journey heads north to DURHAM, a small medieval town full of life, with its cathedral facing the Castle.
Day 2 – DURHAM-ALNWICK-EDINBURG
Trip to Scotland. Stop in ALNWICK, a picturesque town with beautiful gardens and its large medieval castle, where part of the Harry Potter film was filmed. Arrival at noon in EDINBURGH, the Scottish capital and one of the most active cities in northern Europe. Its monumental center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO; the castle dominates the city, its steep streets and parks. Panoramic tour with local guide included.
Day 3 – EDINBURGH
With the group, we will learn about the manufacturing process of Scotland's national drink, a whiskey distillery (entrance included), a beautiful liquor made from barley that is drunk not only in Scotland but also throughout the world, constituting its largest export . The rest of the day is free to continue enjoying Edinburgh, time to stroll through its lively streets and discover its rich historical and museum heritage.
Day 4 – EDINBURGH-THE KELPIES-STIRLING-PITLOCHRY-CULLODEN-INVERNESS
After leaving Edinburgh, we stopped to photograph THE KELPIES, huge sculptures of two big-headed horses from Scottish mythology. They represent the strength and beauty of horses, as well as their connection to water and land. We continue to STIRLING, with its impressive historic center featuring its Great Castle, one of the most important in Scotland, having witnessed countless historical events, including not only legendary battles, but also the coronation of several kings. Next, entry and continuation. Our route north. Stop in PITLOCHRY, a very pleasant town at the center of the largest whiskey production in Scotland. We visit a traditional whiskey distillery in the area (entrance included). Time for lunch. Continuing north we stop at CULLODEN where one of the major battles in Scottish history took place against British forces with a victory for the English army. Battle had consequences for Scotland as laws and policies were imposed that sought to suppress its culture and traditions. Arrival in INVERNESS in the late afternoon in the “Capital of the Highlands” where its castle stands out. We suggest enjoying a stroll along the banks of the River Ness and the iconic suspension bridge. Note: Due to capacity limits at traditional distilleries, we can sometimes arrange this visit in a different town/area nearby than planned in Pitlochry.
Day 5 – WINTERNESS
We will take a stage full of emotions among beautiful landscapes, woods, lakes, very sparsely populated lands and fjords in the north of Scotland. We will visit the unsettling Eilean Donan Castle, very picturesque, located in the waters of the fjord (ticket included). After that we will travel to FORT AUGUSTUS where we will see the lock system; time for a walk and lunch. In the afternoon we will head towards LAKE NESS. We will take a boat trip through the dark waters of the lake after including the ticket to enter the Medieval Castle of URQUHART. Accommodation in INVERNESS.
Day 6 – INVERNESS-FORT WILLIAM-INVERARAY-LAKE LOMOND-GLASGOW
Our trip will take place through beautiful landscapes. Brief stop at SPEAN BRIDGE, a monument that tells us about the Second World War. Afterwards, stop at FORT WILLIAM, a tourist center at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. Along the way we will pass by KILCHURN Castle, beautiful ruins on the edge of a dark lake, and INVERARAY, a picturesque historic town on Lake Fyne, which stands out for its huge castle and quiet streets. Time for lunch. We will return around Loch Lomond, one of the most popular in Scotland. Arrival in GLASGOW in the afternoon. Time to stroll through the center of this bustling city.
Day 7 – GLASGOW-BELFAST-DUBLIN
We will leave Glasgow heading to the south of Scotland, in Cairnryan we will board a ferry. Crossing towards Northern Ireland. Arrival in BELFAST, capital of Northern Ireland, a monumental city that is overcoming its conflict of religions. We will continue towards EIRE (Ireland). Arrival in DUBLIN scheduled for the end of the day.
Day 8 – DUBLIN
Panoramic tour of DUBLIN, the peaceful capital of Ireland; Strolling along the banks of the River Liffey, you will discover the parks, the old university and the lively streets of the center and walk around Trinity College (on occasions the visit can be carried out upon arrival in Dublin the previous afternoon). Free afternoon.
Day 9 – DUBLIN-POWERSCOURT-KILKENNY-CASHEL-CORK
Departure from Dublin. Nearby is POWERSCOURT, where we will visit (entrance included) the magnificent parks and gardens of its Palace, designed in the 18th century, considered the most beautiful in Ireland, with its fountains, its Japanese garden and its pet cemetery. Then we will travel to KILKENNY where we will have time for lunch and stroll around this small town full of life. Further south, stop to see the impressive Rock Castle of CASHEL (entrance included), a medieval fortress that symbolizes the fight of the Irish against the English. Arrival in CORK in the late afternoon. Time for a stroll through the center of Ireland's second city. Dinner included at the hotel.
Day 10 – CORK-KINSALE-KILLARNEY-LIMERICK
We will leave towards KINSALE, stopping next to Charles Fort admiring the beautiful view of the ocean next to the 17th century fortress. Then, some time in the historic center of KINSALE, a seafaring town, for many, the most beautiful of Ireland's coastal towns. Next, the trip continues towards KILLARNEY, a tourist city in the heart of Ireland. Time for a walk and lunch. Next, included a romantic horse carriage ride through its NATIONAL PARK, between gardens, next to the lake; arrival by carriage at ROSS CASTLE, with wonderful views by the lake. Continuing the journey, a brief stop in ADARE, a charming village that preserves picturesque stone houses covered with straw and the ruins of an ancient abbey. Arrival in LIMERICK at the end of the day. Dinner included.
Day 11 – LIMERICK-CLIFS OF MOHER-GALWAY
Entrance included to the FOLK PARK in BUNRATTY, a wonderful park where you will learn about life in Ireland in the past; its typical houses, its ancient businesses, its medieval castle. We then continue towards CAHERCONNEL where the Poulnabrone Dolmen is located. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to see the display of how the sheepdogs lead the sheep. We then continue towards the impressive CLIFFS OF MOHER, which dominate the ocean (entrance included). Those who wish can walk to the O'Brien Tower. Continuation of the journey, crossing BURREN NATIONAL PARK, impressive landscapes. Arrival in GALWAY.


Day 12 – GALWAY-CLONMACNOISE-DUBLIN
Departure from Galway towards CONG, a small and picturesque village in the magnificent lake region; we will see the ruins of the Royal Abbey and stroll next to the fantastic Ashford Castle, now transformed into a hotel. We will travel to CLONMACNOISE, where after some time to stroll and have lunch we will discover its set of Celtic monastic ruins (ticket and guided tour included). Continue to Dublin; Arrival in the late afternoon.
Day 13 – DUBLIN-CAERNARFON-LIVERPOOL
Early in the morning, board the ferry. After crossing approximately three to three and a half hours, arrival in Wales. We will visit CAERNARFON, a World Heritage city, time to stroll and have lunch in this city by the sea dominated by an imposing castle. Continuation of the journey towards LIVERPOOL, where we will take a brief bus tour of the city, a World Heritage Site and the second port in the United Kingdom, where you can visit the Beatles Museum.
Day 14 – LIVERPOOL-STRATFORD-OXFORD-LONDON
Travel towards the center of England. Time to stroll and have lunch in STRATFORD UPON AVON, the city of Shakespeare. Then, departure to OXFORD, a city synonymous with study and culture, where kings, politicians, philosophers and scientists were educated in its schools. Continue to LONDON. Arrival at night.
