Day 1 – LISBON – Thursday

Welcome. Transfer to the hotel and free time. In the afternoon, you will receive information about the start of your tour through the information posters located at the hotel reception.

Day 2 – LISBON – Friday

In the morning, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, during which we will get to know the Portuguese capital of its 7 hills, its narrow streets and tiles, its nostalgia and the Atlantic light. We will also visit the Belém neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators who crossed the oceans in the 15th century set sail. Free afternoon to stroll or go to Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if you wish, you can take an optional excursion to the villages of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening, we will return to the hotel from Praça dos Restauradores, with its atmosphere, bars and cafes.

Day 3 – LISBON – FATIMA – PORTO – Saturday

We travel to the north of Portugal and visit FÁTIMA, then head north. We arrive in PORTO, the second largest city in the country. After lunch, we will take a 50-minute cruise along the Douro River in a “Rabelo”, a traditional Portuguese boat, to discover the city from the beautiful riverbank while tasting a delicious Port wine. Rest of the time at leisure.

Day 4 – PORTO – BRAGA – GUIMARÃES – BOM JESUS – PINHAO – COIMBRA – Sunday

Beautiful landscapes in the north of Portugal. Tour of BRAGA, the religious capital, with its ancient cathedral. Ride the oldest cable car in the world to the Sanctuary of BOM JESUS, where there are beautiful landscapes. It is recommended to walk down and admire the staircase. Then stop for lunch in GUIMARÃES, which was the first Portuguese capital; its Palace of the Dukes brings back memories of that time. Time for lunch.
Beautiful landscapes full of vineyards as we descend the Douro River valley. We will pass through SABROSA, the birthplace of Fernão de Magalhães. In PINHÃO we will visit its wonderful train station with all its tiles and take a short cruise of approximately one hour on the Douro River.
(Notice: From November to March the cruise does not operate, taking a trip along the panoramic road with stops at viewpoints following the banks of the Douro).
We will continue towards COIMBRA, arrival scheduled for the end of the day. Dinner included at the hotel.

Day 5 – COIMBRA – BATALHA – NAZARE – ÓBIDOS – LISBON – Monday

We will have time in COIMBRA, the third largest city in Portugal with its ancient University and charming steep streets. We will continue south, stopping at the BATALHA MONASTERY (entry included), impressive medieval building where kings are buried.
Time for lunch and a stroll in NAZARÉ, a fishing village and seaside resort. We will take the “elevator” up to the old town where we will enjoy an impressive view of the Ocean. On the way to Lisbon, we will stop in ÓBIDOS, one of the most beautiful villages in Portugal, with its white streets full of flowers. Arrival in LISBON around 7:30 pm.

Day 6 – LISBON – Tuesday

After breakfast, our services will come to an end, with the hope that it has been an unforgettable experience.
